About Government Relations

The Office of Government and Community Relations (OGCR) supports the university’s academic mission of teaching and research by serving as the primary liaison between GW and our partners in the federal, state and local governments as well as key local and regional officials, and major higher education and business associations. As a long standing anchor insitution in the District of Columbia, the nation’s capital, the George Washington University is invested in the success and vitality of the Washington metropolitan area and the well-being of its residents.
